THIS WEB SITE IS A TRIBUTE TO LATE Sri C.R.RAO

Sri. C.R. Rao was a highly respected administrator, philosopher and guide of the Poornaprajna Education Centre, Sadashivanagar, Bangalore, in Karnataka State, India. He retired as the Director General of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India in 1975. Immediately after his retirement he was invited by His Holiness Sri. Admar Mutt Education Council, Udupi, Karnataka, to take charge of the Poornaprajna Education Centre, as the Secretary of the Institution. He worked in co-operation with Lt. Col. K.M.Chengappa, the Correspondent of Poornaprajna Education Centre. During his tenure of service in P.P.E.C., Sir. C.R. Rao, was held in high esteem as an able, disciplined educationalist, dedicated to the cause of good education. His consideration as well as co-operation to the Principals and the members of the teaching faculty remains evergreen in our memories. On every working day, we used to see him invariably present in his office to look after the day-to-day affairs of the Institution. Sri. C.R.Rao endeared himself to one and all those worked under his guidance. He never hesitated to uphold the prestige of the teachers and solved their problems in consultation with his colleague Lt. Col. K.M.Chengappa.
